Class breakdowns
Camper — Starter class
A balanced default with no weak spots — ideal for learning the full gather-build-defend loop before specializing.
Scavenger — Resource specialist
Built for looting and exploration efficiency — the natural supply runner keeping the whole squad stocked.
Medic — Team sustain
Healing and revive specialist. The backbone of any squad that wants to recover fast after a night siege.
Cook — Food specialist
Focused on food processing and hunger management — makes long runs cheaper and keeps the team fed on less.
Ranger — Exploration specialist
Strong at traversal and map coverage — the pick for tracking missing-children clues and pushing into far zones.
Lumberjack — Wood specialist
Chops faster than anyone — the engine behind campfire and base upgrades that demand huge wood counts.
Assassin — Combat specialist
High-damage combat class for players who want to fight The Deer’s minions and Cultists head-on instead of hiding.
### Escape Artist — Escape specialist
Perks for sprinting, escaping chases and detecting threats — the pick for players who want to survive nights without fighting.
### Elemental — Biome specialist
A biome helmet plus status-effect, speed and night-vision perks — strong when the right biome rolls, situational otherwise.
### Woodsman — Wood economy
Starts with the unique Woodsman’s Axe and adds log-storage and giant-sapling perks — a second wood engine for heavy base projects.
